Our kitchen project is still going on -- painting the cabinets is taking much longer than I ever expected! But our 1st year wedding anniversary was yesterday, and I managed to make bentos for both of us! This one was for my husband. From left to right: Storebought veggie dumplings (from the frozen section in H-Mart), two fish full of spicy ginger sauce, broccoli (blanched), clementine, assorted fish cakes with yellow bell pepper, chocolate covered almonds with dried cranberries.
Mine was very similar (below), but instead of fishcakes, I had a salad with cucumber and yellow bell peppers.
