Rare Saturday Bento
A rare Saturday bento, for my husband who is off to a friend's house for their fantasy baseball draft. He actually requested that I make him a bento, which was a proud moment for me! Left: Animal skewers with pepperoni, ham, and green pepper. Six shrimp and a couple of asparagus spears. Right Top: Two bottles of cocktail sauce for the shrimp and a fishie full of mustard for the skewers. Cheese crackers. Right Bottom: Cheddar and mozzarella stars, more asparagus.
The Lock & Lock just wasn't big enough for everything, so I included a separate container for apple hearts and homemade pumpkin muffins.

This bento is really cute! But what does your huband's friends think when he brings cute food amongst his baseball buddies?
Hubby said their reaction today was, "Why didn't she make enough for all of us?" And when he takes bento to work, the guys there admire his lunch and say they wish their girlfriends and wives would start making bentos. Then he said he is lucky that I make nice lunches for him. I gave him a big hug and kiss because he's so sweet. :)
